Men’s Counselling
Men play a profound role in our society. Increasingly, it becoming more difficult to walk this out. Whether it be fathering children, being a husband, or navigating the waters of singleness, there are unique gifts and challenges to each. As men, there is an expectation and necessity in this world that we show up. Not only that we show up, but do so with a good attitude and emotionally stable. We can work on this and help you discover victory in this area.
-
This can include drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, or even things that seem less harmful like phone use and video games.
-
How to relate to people, how to share frustrations or disappointments in a successful way. How to communicate love towards family and friends.
-
Maintaining important relationships with family, friends, co-workers. Interpersonal and intimate parter support.
-
Collaborating with spouse or partner, learning how to lead your children with courage and transparency. Learning to be patient.
-
What do I do with my anger? Where do I put it? How do I manage it? Why am I even angry?

For many men, this is a difficult subject. Perhaps you have a faith but are disappointed the amount or how it is, or is not, impacting your life. Maybe it is something you are not ready to address or don’t want to address at all. This is okay. I meet individuals where they are at.
Neurodivergent
Neurodivergent individuals have a unique fingerprint on this world. I long to see individuals appreciate and function in their full personality and abilities. As a Special Education Teacher and School Counsellor over the last 6 years, I have helped many learn to thrive in who they are as neurodivergent people. Holding trauma informed care very closely to my practice, I seek to honour your lived experience without judgement. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, looking for practical executive functioning coaching, or seeking to process the emotional impacts of living in a neurotypical world, I am able to carefully connect and help you.

Youth (ages 9-18)
School, friendships, and growing up can feel like a lot to handle. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and pressure-free environment for pre-teens and teens who might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or like their minds simply work a bit differently. Every young person is intentionally created with unique strengths and a true purpose, and the goal here is to help them discover and lean into those gifts.
As both a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a certified teacher, I have a strong understanding of the experience of being young in this day and age. Together, we work on the things that matter most —whether that be navigating relationship with peers, caregivers, educators or siblings, or anything else a young person might want to discuss.
